Gothic Limestone Mantel with Carved Interlace Frieze

A romantic reclaimed limestone mantel built around a four centred Tudor arch. The frieze is banded with carved interlace medallions, the shelf is crisply moulded, and the whole piece sits on square plinth feet. Pale chalky stone and medieval geometry make it read as monastic and warm at the same time.
